ACASYS Development Corporation is involved in the development of commercial and residential properties in the Philippines and Malaysia for over a decade. ACASYS has developed the LGS (Light Gauge Steel Frames and Light Weight Concrete) technologies. these technologies have enabled ACASYS to complete its projects at a shorter time frame, higher quality and reducing the construction cost. ACASYS’ LGS technologies have been recognized and accredited by the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDC) in the Philippines as an “Innovative Technologies for Housing”. LGS technologies are particularly relevant as ACASYS plans to develop affordable housings to help address the housing backlogs in the Philippines.

EXPERIENCE:

Ar. Steve Low is the Chairman of the ACASYS Group of Companies. He was an Architect in Stewart & Riddick & Partners in Finchley, London; Owen Ward & Palmer Architect in Palmer Green, London. He has more than thirty years experience in the building/construction industry and as Chairman is directly responsible for the overall policies / financial portfolio for the ACASYS Group.

Under his leadership and vision, the Company has developed into a fast-thriving profession of International Property Development, Architecture, Civil & Structure, Project Management, Interior Design and IBS technology, Notable projects would be the MAHKOTA MEDICAL CENTRE in Malacca which was designed and built along with the new innovative approach to hospital design developments, setting the tone and standards for future private medical hospitals in this country, the recent Winning Project Awards received for THE HAVEN LAKESIDE RESIDENCES in Perak Darul Ridzuan, DAMANSARA FORESTA, Bandar Sri Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, the ISKANDAR WATERFRONT CITY, Johor and ICON CITY MIXED DEVELOPMENT, Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan.

The group has expanded its operations by reaching abroad to countries such as the Philippines, Egypt, Bahrain, Ghana, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Timor Leste.

EXPERIENCE:

Mr Tommy Pereira joined the Acasys Group in 2012 and has been managing Acasys Technology Sdn Bhd as the Chief Operations Officer and also oversees the Group’s overseas operations, primarily responsible for the Philippines projects. He was involved in the R&D activities leading to the finalization of the ACASYS Systems.

The ACASYS Group has incorporated three companies in the Philippines which he oversees in his capacity as CEO of the companies. The three companies are currently undertaking 6 projects, utilizing the Acasys Systems, in the Philippines. He was commissioned into the Royal Corps of Engineers and completed his Engineering Training in Kluang as well as the Royal School Of Military Engineering, Liverpool, Australia. He further qualified as a Land Surveyor at the Royal School of Survey, Berkshire, UK. He served 6 years at the Royal Military College, KL of which three years was as Officer Commanding Cadet Division. He was also involved in the RM 220 million Damansara Uptown Project as General Manager.

Upon completing of the project he managed the incorporation and was the General Manager of the See Hoy Chan Facilities Management Sdn Bhd, See Hoy Chan Car Park Sdn Bhd and also the See Hoy Chan Security Services Sdn Bhd. After leaving the See Hoy Chan Group he was appointed a Director of a Filipino Company, Dayaphil Development Corporation which undertook a 350 unit residential project in Cebu, Philippines. He set up the first Pre-Cast Yard in Cebu and this technology was utilized for the project.
